Diamond DA42 NG – Crew Seat Refurbishment
The Project
Generation Global was commissioned to supply new crew seat dress covers for a Diamond DA42 NG aircraft. This one-piece cover design includes the integrated control boot, delivering a seamless and professional finish.
These parts were ordered directly from our online shop and supplied with full EASA Form 1 certification.

Gallery – Interior Details
Designed for both left- and right-hand crew seats, the covers were upholstered in premium Titanium Grey (ADI-1231) aviation leather.

The centre inserts were perforated and quilted in the sophisticated ‘Curve Honeygrid’ (SA010) pattern, adding both comfort and refined visual appeal.

All decorative stitching—from the quilting to the seams—was carefully colour-matched to the leather for a cohesive, high-end finish.
The Client
The client is recognised as one of Europe’s premier flight training organisations, specialising in preparing students for careers in commercial aviation. Offering EASA ATPL-accredited programmes, the organisation operates a fleet that includes Piper PA-28-161 and Diamond DA42 aircraft.
Students begin their training on Piper aircraft to develop proficiency in traditional analogue instrumentation before transitioning to the technologically advanced Diamond series, equipped with full-glass avionics similar to those in modern commercial airliners.
