Cessna 172 Interior Refit: A Modern Take on a Classic Trainer

At Generation Global, we recently had the opportunity to complete a full interior refit for a client’s Cessna 172 delivering a modern, refined cabin environment that meets both form and function.
The Project: Full Interior Overhaul
This interior refurbishment was a comprehensive rebuild, beginning with a complete stripping of the seats, which were then reconstructed from the frame up. In addition to the seating, we also supplied and installed new aviation carpets and sidewall trims, giving the cabin a cohesive, contemporary look.
Every component used in this project is available through Generation Global’s online shop, making it easy for aircraft operators and maintenance teams to source premium interior solutions.

The combination of soft beige leather and subtle perforation gave the seats a premium yet classic look, perfectly aligned with the aircraft's intended use and legacy.
Sidewall Trims
The sidewall design consists of three distinctive horizontal bands running along the cabin, contributing to a clean and structured aesthetic:

Upper Panels: Dune synthetic leather in a light beige tone

Armrests: Dark grey aviation leather to match the door pull handles

Kick Area: Dune-coloured aviation carpet for durability and contrast
Additionally, the kick panels forward of the A-pillar include integrated pockets, providing added convenience for both pilots and passengers.
