THE PROJECT

This project included Generation Global supplying and installing a highly customized interior to return this V-tail Beech V35B Bonanza to its former glory. The interior was stylized to provide a retro look and feel using distressed leather throughout the cabin.

The interior of the cabin was styled in autumn tones, the rich brown of the leather, the orange decorative stitching, and the copper speckle in the carpet. The seat upholstery in the aircraft was replaced with new cushions and dress covers. The sidewalls were wrapped in matching leather with decorative stitch lines to match the seat design.

The seat dress covers used Monarch leather in color Greenstone. The seat cover faces included a quilting pattern in a single diamond pattern with perforated leather in the inserts. The outer seams of the covers are stitched with double stitching in orange thread. The sidewalls in the aircraft are broken up with a band of quilting and a metal decorative bead.

The floor coverings in the aircraft were replaced with a light color carpet with a speckled pattern with orange and brown colorings interspersed. The carpet is called Liberty Copper and is finished around the edges with a light mesh binding. The ceiling in the aircraft has a light tan vinyl suspended headlining. The sun visors were also wrapped in the same tan vinyl as the headlining. The plastics in the cabin and the window surrounds are painted to match the tan of the headlining.
