THE PROJECT
For this project, our team refurbished an executive interior in a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter. Our work included new seat upholstery, rewrapping panels, and installing new floor carpets. The installation was carried out by Generation Global staff at the client's facility while the helicopter was undergoing heavy maintenance.

This helicopter’s seating was not in an executive-style configuration; instead, it had two-seater aircrew bench seats in the cabin as well as two single crew seats in the cockpit. All new seat covers were made from black leather (ADI-1091) and featured leather inserts with SP1 perforation. Those inserts also had horizontal double stitching, which was done in a black thread to match the leather. All plastic pieces on the crew seats were wrapped in black vinyl.
This helicopter’s interior paneling was removed and shipped to Generation Global’s Nelson, New Zealand facility. All paneling was thoroughly cleaned and prepared before being wrapped in matte black vinyl. Then, our team installed the necessary lighting, air conditioning, and speaker components onto each paneling piece before finally attaching placards.
We fully replaced this aircraft’s floor coverings with new carpeting; we also provided additional carpet overmats to protect the new carpeting in the rear cabin. We used Genflor Black City carpet, which was edged with black mesh binding.
