THE PROJECT
This project involved Generation Global supplying an interior kit for a Schweizer 269 Helicopter. We were lucky to get some photos through from the client of the interior installed as many of our kits are sold globally and we often never see the final installed product. This kit included new seat covers and cushions, new flooring, and door inserts. All these parts are available on Generation Global’s online-shop.

The seat covers were manufactured in Lead Grey (ADI-1111) aviation leather and paired with the silver double stitching on outer seams. The seat design features an arrangement of vertical and horizontal stitch lines to shape the back with 3-part flat insert panels. The door inserts are one of the few features on the outer shell of the helicopter which is largely due to the majority of surfaces being glass. This means there is minimal panelling and no headlining for this helicopter type.
The flooring in this helicopter is a hard-wearing vinyl matting (Black) on the floor area and nylon carpet (Zimmer) is used on the upstand under the seats. Both the carpet and flooring are edged with the same black mesh binding. The vinyl matting is perfect for any heavy-duty operator and the same flooring set can be provided with vinyl matting on the upstands. See this product on Generation Global website.
