SUMMARY
This project was a new interior for a Piper PA 28-180 Cherokee aircraft. The interior refurbishment was completed using parts that are available on the Generation Global website and was fitted by the team at the Nelson completion facility. The parts refurbished included the seating, sidewalls, floor coverings, headlining, and items such as the glare shield and control yokes.

The four seats in the aircraft were stripped back to the frame and new diaphragms, cushions, and covers were fitted. The covers were made using lead grey leather (ADI-1111) with double stitching on the outer seams in silver. The leather in the center inserts was perforated with SP-1 perforation. The upper seat backs have the Piper logo embossed into the leather.
The floor coverings in the aircraft were Genflor ash carpet (WN-120). The carpet also is used on the bottom of the sidewall panels. The upper sidewall was covered with lead grey microfibre leather. The sidewall has two lines of double stitching in the silver thread. The wall-mounted armrests were styled to match the sidewalls.
The remainder of the cabin linings were wrapped in a very light grey 3-way stretch vinyl. This included the suspended headlining and the rewrapping of the panels and plastics around the windows. The draft excluder around the door was also made to match the linings.
Other items included the glare shield eyebrow cover which was recovered in black vinyl. The control yokes were repainted in a gloss black with a new Piper emblem. The grips were then wrapped in perforated black leather and hand-stitched to the grips.
