THE PROJECT
This project saw our team working on the interior of a client’s Piper PA-28-181 Archer III. We performed a complete interior refurbish, replacing everything from wall linings and headlinings to carpets, seat covers, and cushions. Generation Global’s website has supplies and solutions for both Piper Archer and Piper Warrior aircraft.

The interior is styled in black and white, with detailing being done in red. Detailing work can be found on the seats’ stitching, on the side wall linings, and on the central air conditioning tunnel in the aircraft headlining.
Seat covers were crafted from black leather (ADI-1091), and the seams sported deep red double stitching. The seats’ center base and back inserts used black leather that has been perforated with SP-1 perforation. We also debossed the Piper logo on the back of each seat - debossing gives detailed designs some extra depth.
The floor coverings and lower sidewalls were also furnished in black carpet. Black City carpet segments were carefully cut to match the aircraft’s layout and were then bound with black mesh binding. We wrapped the sidewalls and armrests with a black microfiber leather - the wrapping work on the latter featured decorative red stitching. Meanwhile, we rewebbed the seatbelts with black webbing so they’d match the seat covers.
The white portions of the interior included the upper side trim and the headlining, barring the central air conditioning tunnel, which was wrapped in black microfiber leather that had red double stitching running the length of the panel. We removed the upper side walls and wrapped them with white vinyl. Finally, we removed the plastics that make up the headlining and painted them to match the white vinyl before carefully reinstalling them.
