THE PROJECT
This project included Generation Global developing and supplying new seat cushions and dress covers for the Airbus H125 helicopter. This project was a unique opportunity, allowing the development to expand the product range by including the new H125 seat design. This new seat design is now a certified design, and the seat cushions and covers are delivered with a Form 1 Authorised Release Certificate. These parts have been added to the Generation Global online shop.

The foam cushions are manufactured using Genlite foam which Generation Global’s own range of polyurethane foam developed for aviation. The seat backrest cushions are a complex design with a number of profiles and are computer cut as individual components and assembled with specialist adhesives.
The seat dress covers were manufactured in a lead grey (ADI-1111) leather with stitching in silver. In the centre inserts the leather is perforated (SP-1) which allows the seats to breath plus provides a subtle difference in texture and horizonal stitch lines to break up the panels. The design includes a built in headrest with a cut-out to allow for the seatbelts to feed through from behind.
