THE PROJECT
This project involved refurbishment of a complete Airbus Helicopters H130 interior for a client overhauling a machine in Australia. The interior that came out included fabric seat covers and factory linings and floor coverings. The aftermarket seat covers had no labelling or any traces of certification. The H130 interior kit comes with EASA design approval and is manufactured under Generation Global’s EASA production organisation Approval and is supplied with a EASA Form 1 release certificate. SEATING
This seat covers were manufactured in quality aviation leather, Black (ADI-1091FR) with quilted inserts (SA010 curved honey grid) in orange thread (Colour 123). The decorative stitching on the seams was also in matching in orange thread (Colour 123).
FLOORING
The interior ceiling panels, sidewall trims, armrest pads and rear bulkhead were all finished in either real or synthetic leather, colour Black (ADI-1091FR) and the decorative stitching in orange thread (Colour 123). The vinyl flooring was supplied hard wearing penny mat finish (Genflor MW-200 Graphite) and the over mats were supplied in a nylon cut pile carpet (Genflor WN-120 Zimmer).
THE CLIENT
The client is based in the state of Victoria, the second-smallest state located in the south-eastern corner of Australia, bordered by New South Wales to the north and South Australia to the west. The company specialises in refurbishment of helicopters for private and business owners.
