This project included Generation Global giving this Cessna U206F Station Air a full makeover. Parts refurbished included the seat upholstery, seat frames, floor coverings, control yokes, door jams, glareshield, and many miscellaneous trim parts. The seats were stripped right back to the frame and repainted. The refurbished frames were then fitted with new seat slings, foam cushioning and seat coverings. The seat coverings were manufactured from charcoal grey (ADI-1121) aviation leather with a blue piping on the outer seams and down the centre insert.
The new floor coverings were manufactured from a heavy-duty nylon carpet (Zimmer) which was chosen to match the charcoal leather. The carpet was bound with mesh binding and alloy heel mats were fitted in the areas below the foot pedals. The control yokes were resurfaced with a high gloss finish and the centre cover was wrapped in leather.
