THE PROJECT
This project included Generation Global supplying replacement crew and passenger seat covers, seat shell covers, control boots and flooring for a Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm BO105 helicopter. See all BO105 interior parts on our online shop.
THE GALLERY
The front and rear seat covers were manufactured from charcoal grey aviation leather (ADI-1121) with SP1 perforation in the insert panels on the bottom and backrests. A contrasting red is brought in through the outer edge double stitching and the featured BO-105 embroidery on the seat backs.
The front seats have a shell cover wrapped in the matching leather with a rear pocket. Also wrapped in the same leather is the rear bulkhead with the helicopter registration embroidered in red. The boots are made from black leather that has been skived to make the leather more pliable. The boots are accessed using domes and zips. The flooring in this helicopter is the very high duty vinyl flooring in a charcoal colour.
THE CLIENT
The client for this project is an air ambulance operator based in Norway. Norway has two air ambulance providers to support this region. The Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm BO105 has become commonly used for medical uses through out the world.
