THE PROJECT
For this project, our team provided an interior kit for a Bell 206 Longranger including new carpets and seating. Parts were purchased on behalf of the client by the client’s maintenance organisation.

This aircraft had Generation I seats, which is the design that re-uses the OEM seat bottom frame. The back outside face of the seat backrests has a shaped composite shell, while the bottom seat upholstery includes a canvas diaphragm which is fitted to the OEM seat frame and supports the cushion & seat coverings.
The new seat dress covers were made from handsome truffle brown leather (ADI-4141) and had their outer seams edged with black piping. The leather covers also sported leather removable headrests, which were fastened via dome attachments onto each backrest. The headrests were debossed with the client’s logo, as seen in the photo above.
A new interior floor covering kit was supplied in black city carpet and included the edges bound with a matching mesh binding. The kit is easily attached to the aircraft’s floor and lower sidewalls using velcro attachments.
