THE PROJECT
This project included the refurbishment of a Bell 206L-4 Long Ranger by Generation Global. The parts refurbished included executive seating, door panel inserts, flooring, and wrapping interior paneling. Generation Global holds EASA, CASA & NZCAA design data for Bell 206 interiors. Bell 206 interior parts are available now for purchase on Generation Global’s online shop.

Interior panels were wrapped in a beautiful three-way stretch synthetic leather (Black matt) to match in with the interior colour palette. The door panel inserts included pockets and were manufactured in matching black leather (ADI-1091) and featured a white double stitching line running through them. The floor coverings were supplied in a deep nylon cut-pile carpet (Blackcity) which was bound with a black mesh binding.
The seats in this helicopter are the Gen II frame style seats. The seat covers were manufactured in a black (ADI-1091) quality aviation leather and included white double stitching on the outer seams and the inserts were perforated panels (SP-1) and quilted in the double diamond quilting pattern (SA005) with black thread.
THE CLIENT
The owner of this helicopter is based in New Zealand and uses the helicopter for private use. The owner has a background in finance, having worked with some of the largest financial institutions around the world, and is currently involved in business advisory.
