THE PROJECT
For this project, our team provided new carpeting and seating for a Bell 206 Longranger helicopter. The Longranger helicopter has 2 x crew seats, 2 x aft-facing pax seats, and 4 x forward-facing pax seats. The crew and aft-facing seats have back-to-back headrests between them. If you’re looking to refurbish a Bell 206 helicopter, Generation I- and II-type seating can be purchased on the Generation Global website. Custom interiors are also available by reaching out directly to the team at Generation Global.

The modern, stylized seat covers and cushions in the helicopter were a custom design requested by the customer. Between the two aft, forward-facing executive seats is a dickie seat that folds down into an armrest, instead of the traditional three-place rear seats.
Each seat cover features a seat back insert made from light-toned titanium grey leather (ADI-1231). The rest of the seat covers are covered in a darker lead grey leather (ADI-1111), as is the folding seat cover. The insert is broken up with horizontal seams, and all outer stitchwork is done with titanium grey double stitching.
That same titanium grey stitching was used to embroider the Bell logo onto each seatback. All headrest covers, including those on the back-to-back headrests between the crew and aft-facing seats, were also made from lead grey (ADI-1111) leather with titanium grey double stitching.
Our team also supplied precision-cut carpet pieces for the floor and lower sidewalls below the seats. These pieces were made from charcoal carpet and were bound with black edging. Carpet segments attach via velcro (which is supplied with the carpet).
