SUMMARY

This Australian-based project included refurbishing the seating and floorcoverings in a Bell 206L-1 LongRanger II. The helicopter is used by the client for multiple different operational roles and the new interior gives the helicopter a new lease of life.

SUMMARY

The seat configuration includes two crew seats, two aft-facing pax seats, and three forward-facing pax seats that make up the back row. The seats were fitted with new leather dress covers and new cushions. The floorcoverings in the helicopter were made using Zimmer carpet (WN-120) and were edged with black binding.

The seats in the helicopter were the GEN I frame-less seat design. The seat dress covers were manufactured in lead grey leather (ADI-1111). The seat covers are stitched with double stitching on the outer seams in a matching color to the leather.

The leather seat cover center inserts were all perforated in the SP-5 perforation design. The perforated leather is then stitched with a decorative diamond quilting pattern (SA001). The Bell company logo was embroidered in a contrasting white color on the upper seat back on all the seats.
