THE PROJECT
For this project, the team at Generation Global worked on the interior of a Bell 206 Jetranger owned by a maintenance organisation. We refurbished or replaced seating, door inserts, carpets, and more. All stock parts used in this project are available on our website (our client requested some customised pieces as well).

This helicopter has Generation I seating which re-uses the OEM seat frames. We styled each seat’s cover with white leather (ADI-1021), red double stitching and center inserts sported a breathable perforated leather (HP-01). Seats also feature the Bell logo, which we embroidered onto each seatback with red and black thread. As the final touch on the seating, we rewebbed every seatbelt with brand-new black webbing.
Other parts we furnished included door insert panels. These parts were all made using white leather (ADI-1021) with red stitching to match the seats. All door inserts had horizontal, double-stitched lines and a pocket. Also supplied were a custom crew organiser pocket and a new broom-cupboard panel.
For this helicopter's floor coverings, we used Genflor Zimmer carpet (WN-120), in which the edges were bound with black binding. Control boots for Bell 206 come in black leather standard; however, at our client’s request, we were able to make a new set from white leather that matched the rest of the interior’s theme.
