THE PROJECT
This project saw our team refurbish a Bell 206 Jet Ranger’s interior. Generation Global supplied new seat covers and cushions, door inserts, and carpets. The seats supplied - both crew and pax - were of a Generation I frameless design.

The installation of new seat covers and cushions is always an important step in the refurbishing of an aircraft; seat covers tend to set the tone and theme of the entire interior. Here, we used two tones of grey on our covers. Charcoal Grey leather (ADI-1121) was used as the base colour, and a lighter Titanium Grey leather (ADI-1231) was used on the seat inserts.
The crew seat backrest shells are designed to fit over the shape of the bulkhead they are attached to. All stitching on these seats was done in Titanium Grey. Stitchwork included the Bell logo, which was embroidered on each seat back.
The titanium grey themes found on the seats were carried through into the door inserts, where we used Titanium Grey leather and matching stitching. The carpet, meanwhile, was selected to match the charcoal grey used as the seats’ base color; specifically, we chose the Genflor Zimmer carpet (WN-120) with black binding on its edges. Carpet sections are backed with velcro, which allowed for easy attachment along upright sections.
