THE PROJECT
This project included Generation Global supplying Generation I style frame-less crew and pax seat upholstery for a Bell 206 Jetranger. The Bell 206 interiors have two different types of seat upholstery, the Generation I design offers upholstery for both with frames and without frames and the Generation II design is executively for upholstery with frames. GALLERY
The seats in this helicopter are configured with two crew seats in the front cockpit and three Pax seats in the rear passenger compartment. The seat dress covers were manufactured from Charcoal Grey (ADI-1121) aviation leather and the decorative stitching was in a matching colour. The design includes flat inserts with horizonal seams. The seats all have the operators company logo embroidered into the upper backrest panel in a contrasting white.
THE CLIENT
The client is an aircraft maintenance provider in the South of Australia. The client maintains the fleets of many local helicopter operators. Their services include both aeroplane and helicopter maintenance.
