THE PROJECT
This project included the refurbishment of a Beechcraft C90 King Air aircraft. The seating was refurbished to pristine condition with new crew sheepskin covers and cushions, Pax seat covers and cushions, a divan, and the belted lavatory seat. Also included were the floor coverings, lower sidewalls, tray tables, cabinetry, and hardware. This project was completed under Generation Global’s Part 145 maintenance approval but some C90 parts are also available on our website supplied as kits. Click here to see the C90 parts.

The leather upholstery used was a fine New Zealand grown and tanned aviation leather. This was used for the divan, lav seat, passenger seats, headrests, and armrests. The seats are styled in the original Beechcraft design using Generation Global’s own range of Genlite foams. The crew seat front faces were covered in New Zealand sheepskin dyed to match the leather borders.
The floor coverings included a textured, ridged carpet, that was used throughout the aircraft from the cockpit to the rear luggage bay. The carpet was also used up the lower section of the sidewall panels. Above the carpet on the sidewall was a fabric band in a contrasting colour with a black dividing line running along the length of the sidewall. The tray tables also had all wood finishes resurfaced, metals polished, new leather in-lays, and new decals applied.
