THE PROJECT
For this project, the Generation Global team refreshed the interior of a client’s Bell 206 Longranger helicopter. The refresh included refurbished seat covers and cushions, side panels, and new flooring.

The interior was styled with shades of grey while detailing work was done in a deep, rich red. Stitching on all seating and side panels was done with a scarlet thread. For a finishing touch, we embroidered the Bell Helicopters logo onto each of the seat backs - using red stitching as well.
Seat covers were manufactured using Lead Grey leather (ADI 1111) and the center inserts were perforated for extra breathability. Each crew seat insert features an adjustable back lumbar, which can be shifted using two convenient tabs.
Included were the dual-use headrests, which serve both the pilot and the aft-facing passenger seats. Like the seat covers, these were stitched with red detailing on their seams.
The door inserts, like the seats, were done in matching lead grey leather - they also featured horizontal, decorative stitch lines. In this helicopter, the only side panel that included a pocket was the one located on the pilot door.
The helicopter floor coverings were manufactured using a durable vinyl flooring material. The product is called “coin matt” due to the raised, coin-sized grips on the top face and provides a non-slip surface. The flooring colour was black and included both the FWD and AFT cabins.
